How to measure good earthing and bad earthing using multmeter | How to measure current or voltage linkage at your house ,office or industry

Voltage (an electromotive force or potential difference expressed in volts) is the pressure from an electrical circuit's power source that pushes charged electrons (current) through a conducting loop, enabling them to do work such as illuminating a light

An electric current is a flow of electric charge. Electric charge flows when there is voltage present across a conductor. In electric circuits this charge is often carried by moving electrons in a wire.

By using multmeter can know good earthing or bad earthing

How can do?
Set multmeter in  AC voltage measuring mode.

 Measure voltage as follows,

MEASURING
 VALUE
  Live with Neutral (L-N)
 230V
 Live with earthing (L-E)
 230.1V
 Neutral with Ground/earthing (N-E)
 0.8V

 Voltage leakage = (L-E) - (L-N) + (N-E)
                           =230.1V-230V+0.8V
                           =0.9V
So earthing is good (OK)

MEASURING
 VALUE
  Live to Neutral (L-N)
 230V
 Live to Ground/earthing (L-E)
 17.1V
 Neutral to Ground/earthing (N-E)
 0.7V
 Voltage leakage = (L-N) - (L-E) + (N-E)
                           =230V-17.1V+0.7V
                           =213.6V
So earthing is bad (NOT OK)

NOTE;

EARTHING IS BAD (NOT OK) WHEN VOLTAGE LEAKAGE IS GREATER THAN 5V
