12V BATTERY CHARGER WITH AUTOMATIC FULL CHARGE CUT OFF USING ARDUINO.

Tune the variable resistor RV2 to cut off the charging after the desired level of voltage. For a 12V lead acid battery, charging cut off on 13.8 volts will be sufficient.

TRANSIFORMER should be 14acV -15acV . and at least 5AMP

BR1 (BRIDGE) Rectifier.

CAPACITOR C1, C2, C3  should be 1000uF/25V or greater.

RV1 (variable resistor) 10K for controlling brightness of the display.

ARDI (ARDUINO UNO R3) Control unit.

RST (RESET SWITCH)  for reset control unit

RV3 (variable resistor) 1K for battery voltage reading connected to pin A2/PC2 in arduino. 

RV4 (variable resistor) 1K for battery charging status connected to pin A1/PC1 in arduino. 

RV5 (variable resistor) 1K for full battery status connected to pin A0/PC0 in arduino. 

D1 (LED) for showing not charging status.

D2 (LED) for showing charging status.

D5 & D6 ( RECTIFIER DIODE) for blocking voltage from battery .

C3 (10uF) ,R3 (1K) ,BC 547 is a NPN transistor, used to drive the electromagnetic relay to cut voltage  supply to battery.

U1 (LM78O5 voltage regurator) for FIVE voltage supply to LCD.

LCD1 (1602 LCD) for displaying voltage status during charging and when stopped charging.
